As a member of the Pininfarina team, I had the honor of participating in the design and development of the 2024 Shanghai F1 trophy in close collaboration with Lenovo. This project had a very tight timeline and required us to balance the aesthetics and functionality of electronic components. The design incorporates elements of Chinese culture, along with traditional Western elements like olive wreath. It presents a unique and futuristic visual impact in the form of an impossible Mobius strip. Moreover, this is the first wearable smart trophy that allows interaction with the champion.
